I paced around the house like a mad woman as I waited for Pete to come home, but when he did he seemed strange, lost even. The look in his eyes was empty and scared, almost as though he had seen a ghost.  His shoulders hung like weights and his lips shook as he spoke. Now I couldn’t tell him what she said, or what I had seen that night. He couldn’t hear it, not in his condition, no, I just couldn’t hurt him. I told him that she ran away, that she was gone before I arrived home and that I didn’t know what happened.
I know where she went that night, I know how she died.  I didn’t have the heart to tell Pete she ran away because she remembered, she remembered her life, her name..her accident. She killed herself that night, she leapt from the top floor of an apartment complex on the other side of town. I did everything I could to keep the news from reaching Pete. He never did find out how she died, I really think its better that way. In his eyes heaven was missing an angel. In his eyes she just went home.

well I have a habbit of starting stories at the end and that makes the rest of it turn out really bad because the end is the " inspired" part so this time I just posted the end....if there are any questions feel free to ask..there is somthing that you should be able to figure out about one of the characters...but its told from the perspective of Tiff Petes sister shes about a year older than he is both are in thier mid twenties.....and the woman they are reffering to is Rosey or so they call her, noone knows her name....

I think reading just the end is really interesting... it's strange how the ambiguity itself can speak volumes...

well, like I said, I always write endings, and you convinced me to post just the end...
